The Academy Division aims at promoting and fostering global health leadership and contextualizing knowledge and tools to address global health challenges.

The Arm for Specialized Services Initiatives and Support (ASSIST) is the outreach division of GHI. Through ASSIST, the institute aims to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of communities in the MENA region either through direct community-based interventions, or by empowering the NGO sector regionally through its flagship initiative: The Non-Governmental Organizations Initiative (NGOi).
