ABOUT

The World Health Summit (WHS) Academic Alliance Working Group on Health and Science Diplomacy is a collaborative project initiated and led by the Global Health Institute at the American University of Beirut, serving as its Secretariat. The Working Group brings together 13 alliance partner institutions representing 10 countries and 19 experts in the field.

The Working Group is envisioned as a global incubator for shared learning, research, and coordinated advocacy at the intersection of health, science, and diplomacy. It seeks to strengthen the technical and leadership capacities of diplomats, policymakers, researchers, and health professionals; foster multi-stakeholder dialogue and policy exchange; and generate evidence and thought leadership that informs regional and global policy processes.
