The NGOi offers certification to NGOs whose governance and administration structures as well as operational principles meet the requirements of a set evidence-based criteria.
The NGOi Self-Assessment Platform is an interactive user-friendly platform that enables any NGO operating in the Middle East and North Africa region to undergo a self-assessment of its operations, structures, policies, and procedures based on 10 evidence-based standards.
Once the self-assessment is completed, a comprehensive report of results is automatically generated. The report features the score obtained for each standard, as well as a total score. Based on the standard-specific scores obtained, tailored performance improvement and capacity building recommendations are presented.
The NGOi offers training and capacity building programs to NGOs staff and leadership through workshops, webinars, courses, certificates, and diplomas, using different learning approaches including face-to-face, online, and blended methods of delivery.
The NGOi is specialized in the creation of contextualized and Arabized content for capacity building offerings to NGOs in the MENA region. Contextualized and Arabized content enhances the ability of learners to link the knowledge and skills gained to the current context, and examine its applicability through real life scenarios, inspired from the regional context.
The NGOi presents a knowledge resource center comprising relevant and reliable material that keep NGOs staff and leadership up-to-date.
NGOi offers a convening platform for the NGOs to engage in face-to-face and virtual events that build bridges, provide better understanding for its stakeholders, create common grounds, and foster collaboration.
This platform will serve as the go-to place for NGOs to meet, share knowledge and experiences, and discuss relevant matters through seminars, conferences, forums, and talks.
NGOi members will have access to ‘members-only’ closed events as well as facilitated hosting of co-organized events at AUB premises.
