The PEPP MENA Forum 2024 is now accepting abstract submissions from individuals or organizations ready to disseminate original research, case studies, and innovative projects related to epidemic and pandemic preparedness. Abstract submissions can be:

Oral Presentations

 

Accepted abstracts under the six thematic topics will be allocated a 10 minute presentation slot.

Poster Presentations

 

Accepted abstracts under the six thematic topics will be displayed in the exhibition hall for the duration of the event.

Please note that abstracts will not be published in a journal.

We are welcoming abstracts outlining programs, initivates, research, and solutions in the following thematic topics related to epidemic and pandemic preparedness:

Advancing Research in Epidemic and Pandemic Preparedness in the MENA Region.

Leveraging Big Data and Innovative Solutions for Epidemic and Pandemic Preparedness in the MENA Region.

Achieving Equity and Equality in Epidemic and Pandemic Preparedness in the MENA Region.

Lessons Learned from Recent Outbreaks: Success, Challenges and Areas of Improvement in Epidemic and Pandemic Preparedness and Response in the MENA Region.

Addressing Preparedness Challenges Stemming from Fragility and Conflict in the MENA Region.

GUIDELINES

The maximum word count for abstract submission is 350 words. Supplemental materials (photos, articles, or reports) are not accepted and will not be reviewed by the committee.

Eligible abstracts include original research, educational, or clinical work relevant to one of the six topics.
Abstracts must be submitted in English.
Please specify if you are submitting your abstract for an oral or poster presentation.
Abstracts must be submitted on the form below.
The maximum word count for the abstract is 350 words.
Abstract titles are allowed up to 250 characters (including spaces) and should NOT be all caps. Use Title Case.
Abstract should be structured in four clear paragraphs: Background/Methods/Results/Conclusion.
Accepted posters will be set up in the exhibition hall where the required size of the poster should not exceed 130×100 cm.
