Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning for NGOs

Course Description

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) is intended to help program managers to plan for monitoring the progress of activity implementation against planned targets, evaluating progress toward expected results, and utilizing this information to continuously learn, adapt, and report to stakeholders.

This course is designed to help professionals working in non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to develop the skills needed to effectively design, plan, and manage MEAL programs for NGOs. Given the dynamic nature of NGO projects, MEAL plans should be continuously revised along the phase of the project to ensure that the indicators, targets, and data collection processes are still aligned with the project implementation and expected results especially during times of crisis.
