ABOUT

The The ‘Scaling the use of family planning mobile application and counseling for the use of modern family planning methods among postpartum women in the West Bank: a randomized clinical trial’ project is an 18-month project led by the research team at the Birzeit University (BU) in Palestine, supported by the Global Health Institute (GHI) at the American University of Beirut (AUB), and funded by the Canadian International Development Research Centre (IDRC). This project aims to promote the adoption and continuation of family planning (FP) methods by leveraging an Artificial Intelligence powered mobile application that delivers tailored informational messages to married women of reproductive age about contraceptive options and their proper use.
