ABOUT

The ‘Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Adolescent Empowerment: A Holistic Initiative to Enhance Sexual and Reproductive Health, Counter Gender-Based Violence, and Mitigate Child Marriage in Jordan’s Refugee and Host Communities’ project is an 18-month project led by the research team at the Al-Hakoura for Educational Program in Jordan, supported by the Global Health Institute (GHI) at the American University of Beirut (AUB), and funded by the Canadian International Development Research Centre (IDRC). This project aims to improve sexual, reproductive, and maternal health (SRMH) outcomes and address gender-based violence (GBV) among adolescent girls in Jordan, by delivering reliable SRMH information, providing vital GBV support services, and strengthening the capacities of healthcare providers (HCPs), all through an Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered platform.
