Anera is launching “Empowered Communities in Action” which aims to mobilize communities to improve practices related to the use of safe drinking water, personal hygiene, and menstrual health, in addition to improving the sanitation and environmental resources in the community. The project will improve practices on safe hygienic and preventive measures related to personal hygiene, provide capacity building and livelihood support to youth and women to alleviate economic hardships, and lead youth and women, in initiatives under WASH themes which serve the community.
