Description

Project management is the process of planning a project effectively, setting achievable objectives, and developing an efficient work plan. This course is designed to empower NGOs staff working on planning, managing and implementing projects in NGOs with the international common practices, skills, knowledge and techniques needed to develop a project schedule and manage the project timeline within the allocated budget and resources. Participants will also be introduced to how to identify, assess and mitigate potential projects’ risks. From project initiation to closure, participants will be equipped with proven techniques and tools for maximizing resources, managing stakeholders, and achieving impactful outcomes within the NGO sector.

The duration of this course is 4 days. The course content covers a total of 30 hours including lecturing, case studies, homework, assessments, and other exercises.

About the Trainer
Naji Shelala has over 20 years of experience of providing trainings on various topics related to project management. Naji is a PMI “Authorized Training Instructor” and conducts PMP and Agile workshops for organizations, training centers, and NGOs. He has trained and coached over 3,000 individuals in various sectors. He has been actively involved in social service since 1990 and serves as the president of Lebanon Faith & Light communities. He is also the Co-Founder of both the Baitna association and Afak Jadida.
