NGOi Open House

ABOUT THE EVENT

NGOi is organizing an Open House on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the American University of Beirut (AUB), West Hall.

The full-day event will bring together organizations from the civil society sector, including local and international NGOs, NGOi member organizations from the region, partners, civil society experts, donors, Embassy representatives, and academia. The Open House aims to strengthen cross-sector collaboration, foster dialogue, promote learning, and spotlight the collective impact driving the NGO sector forward.

The event will feature an NGO exhibition showcasing organizations from across the region, a panel discussion on building a stronger, more resilient civil society ecosystem, and workshops covering various areas of NGO management.

FORMAT

NGOs/CSOs Exhibition Booths
The Exhibition Booths at the Open House will showcase NGOs from the region, highlighting their work, achievements, and community impact. It offers a platform to connect with donors, other organizations, and a diverse audience of civil society actors, experts, and academics.
Panel Discussion
The panel explores how multi-stakeholder partnerships can strengthen NGOs, address current challenges, and foster more coordinated and impactful collaboration.
Thematic Workshops
Three thematic workshops will run throughout the day, offering practical learning on key areas of NGO operations, sustainability, and resilience. Led by experienced facilitators, participants will gain tools, insights, and opportunities for peer exchange.

This 1-hour workshop examines the concept of sustainability within the context of NGOs and highlights the strategic role of partnerships in advancing it. The session will address key dimensions of partnership development, including the mapping of potential partners, the establishment of trust, and the strategic management of collaborations to ensure long-term organizational and programmatic impact.

Financial Resilience & Revenue Diversification

This 1-hour workshop examines how NGOs can strengthen sustainability through diversified revenue streams. Participants will explore the risks of overreliance on limited funding and learn strategic approaches to donor diversification, partnerships, and alternative financing to enhance long-term resilience.

Amplifying Impact: Strategic Marketing & Branding for NGOs

This 1-hour workshop explores how NGOs can use marketing and branding as strategic tools to advance their mission. Participants will examine approaches to defining organizational identity, communicating impact, and positioning effectively with stakeholders to strengthen visibility, credibility, and long-term sustainability.
