Target Audience
The course aims to empower professionals working on planning, managing and implementing projects and programs in NGOs with the international common practices, skills, knowledge and techniques. It provides a mix of on-the-ground know-how, academic background and alignment with international project management standards by ISO and the Project Management Institute (PMI). It covers fundamentals as well as advanced knowledge in all matters related to project and program management, including but not limited to strategic alignment of projects, community needs assessment, project scoping & initiation, project life cycle Management, logical framework matrix, monitoring & evaluation among other necessary concepts. The course encompasses easily comprehendible topic sessions that will provide clarity and ease of adoption in day to day tasks.

Subject Matter Expert
Afif Tabsh, PMP, GPM-b, CBAP, PBA
Afif has 11+ years of consulting, advising, training and managerial experience in corporate, academic and non profit sectors (NGOs). He is the Founding Partner of RPS MENA; a research, training and consulting boutique firm based in Beirut serving the MENA region. Prior to that he was the Business Development and Projects Manager at AUB REP the consulting arm of the university. Before that, he was in a consulting managerial position at PwC in KSA. Previously, he was the Operations Manager at CMCS Lebanon, a Project Management Consulting & Training firm in Beirut. In parallel, and since 2011, he has been a Project Management & Business Analysis Instructor/Trainer at RPS MENA, AUB’s Continuing Education Center (AUB CEC) and PwC Academy among others.
