Digital Communications & Use of Social Media Among NGOs in MENA

Funded by META, the project explored the capacities, practices, and needs of NGOs across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, towards digital communication. The assessment focused mainly on organizations from Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia and touched upon the level of presence of the NGO on social media, the use of different social media platforms, degree of knowledge related to digital communication, as well as reflections on existing capacity building opportunities on this topic and trainings needs and preferences. The insights of the assessment are instrumental in shaping the training agenda and guiding investment to address the actual needs of NGOs in the region.
